Gardaí appeal to identify Merchant's Quay body

Gardaí in Dublin are trying to identify a man whose body was found on Merchant's Quay on Friday.

The man, aged 25 to 35, is six foot five inches tall with a heavy build and red hair. The name "Symone" is tattooed on his upper left hand, his ears were pierced and he was wearing earrings.

He was wearing a blue tracksuit bottoms and a red zip-up top.

Gardaí say the man may have recently had his arm in a sling.

Anyone who may be able to identify the man is asked to contact Kilmainham garda station.
