Irish jobs to escape chop in ICI cut-backs

Dulux Ireland has said it does not expect its 200 workers to be affected by a worldwide series of lay-offs announced by its parent company today.

Dulux Ireland has said it does not expect its 200 workers to be affected by a worldwide series of lay-offs announced by its parent company today.

ICI, which owns Dulux, is planning to lay of 1,400 workers worldwide to reduce costs.

The company also laid off 900 workers in May.
