A 26-year-old Irish businessman has won this year's Young European of the Year award.

A 26-year-old Irish businessman has won this year's Young European of the Year award.

Adrian Langan, an international trade executive with the Chambers of Commerce of Ireland, won the award for campaigning for a 'Yes' vote in last year's referendum on the Nice Treaty.

Mr Langan is a native of Co Mayo.
