Nursing Board to discuss suspended nurse

A meeting of An Bord Altranais is due to be held today over the investigation into medication administered by a nurse at Naas General Hospital.

An Bord Altranais, the Irish nursing board, is due to meet later today to discuss the garda investigation into the actions of a nurse at Naas General Hospital in Co Kildare.

The nurse was suspended from duty last week amid allegations that medicine was wrongly administered to some patients at the hospital.
