Former Fianna Fáil TD Liam Lawlor could be facing a further prison sentence if he fails to co-operate with the Planning Tribunal by close of business today.

Former Fianna Fáil TD Liam Lawlor could be facing a further prison sentence if he fails to co-operate with the Planning Tribunal by close of business today.

Last week, the tribunal gave Mr Lawlor one last change to disclose all available financial records or face High Court action for failing to co-operate with the inquiry.

The former Dublin west TD, who has already served six weeks in jail for failing to comply with tribunal orders, is believed to have travelled to London over the weekend to acquire documents about his business dealings.

However, it is unclear if the material he delivers to the tribunal will be enough to avoid another visit to the High Court.
