Shannon company faces legal action

The Environmental Protection Agency is taking legal action against a company in Shannon over problems with a smell emanating from the plant.

A summons has been issued to Schwarz Pharma Limited for alleged breaches of its Integrated Pollution Control.

It follows complaints of an odour nuisance from people living in the area for a number of months.
