Children of Ireland awards appeal for nominations

Members of the public are being urged to put forward candidates for the national Children of Ireland Awards as the closing date of August 20 approaches.

The ceremonies are intended to honour outstanding children.

The awards have in the past been given to children who have saved the lives of members of their families and others who have overcome disabilities to lead full and rewarding lives.
