Six in hospital after Westmeath accident

Six people have been hospitalised following a road accident in Co Westmeath today.

The crash, which involved three vehicles, happened on the main Dublin to Sligo road between Mullingar and Kinnegad.

Gardaí say some of those injured were in a serious condition.
