FG blame Govt for Waterford job losses

Fine Gael TD Phil Hogan has blamed the Government for the loss of 234 jobs at Waterford Crystal, saying its actions in the past 12 months had exacerbated the slowdown in the Irish economy.

The spokesperson on Enterprise, Trade and Employment said: "We had 1,400 jobs gone last week, we're already up to 600 this week and we're only half-way through the week."
