Lawlor facing seventh day in tribunal witness box
Former Fianna Fáil TD Liam Lawlor is due to face a seventh day of questioning before the Planning Tribunal today.
Yesterday, the tribunal accused Mr Lawlor of lying over a land deal from which he made £350,000.
The tribunal produced a solicitor's letter showing that the former Dublin west TD was a key shareholder, along with Jim Kennedy and John Caldwell, in a number of companies which purchased land at Coolamber in Lucan. The deal was funded by Larry Goodman.
Mr Lawlor had denied having any interest in or link to the land in Coolamber in a sworn affidavit to the tribunal in 2001.
