Ahern meets ICTU on airports stand-off

The Taoiseach is meeting with ICTU officials at Government Buildings, in what are thought to be talks about the Aer Rianta stand-off.

A union delegation, including SIPTU President Des Geraghty, arrived to meet Mr Ahern at around 3pm.

The discussions come a day after a mass gathering of SIPTU workers at Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports, vowed to oppose any break up of Aer Rianta.
