Environment Minister Martin Cullen is reportedly planning to introduce a tax on chewing gum, polystyrene food wrappers and ATM receipts in an effort to reduce street litter.

The tax will be modelled on the hugely successful 15c levy on plastic bags introduced 18 months ago.
