Gardaí question man after drug find

Gardaí in Dublin are continuing to question a 41-year old man in connection with the seizure of €3.5m worth of drugs in the city last night.

300kgs of cannabis was found when gardaí and Customs officers stopped and searched a lorry on the Old Swords Road in Santry in the north of the city.

The drugs were hidden in a shipment of tiles. The man is being held at Blanchardstown garda station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
