Greens lash Govt waste plan

The Green Party has lashed out at the Government's national waste strategy plan saying it will "sound the death knell" for Ireland's 'green' image.

Green Party leader Trevor Sargent says if incinerators are allowed to go ahead, it will destroy local agriculture, threaten the health of local communities and damage our tourism industry.
