Ahern urged to meet Omagh families

Labour Party TD Joe Costello has called on the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, to meet with the families of the victims of the 1998 Omagh bombing to discuss their upcoming court case.

The call follows Mr Ahern's decision not to meet with the Omagh Support and Self Help Group due to prior engagements.

Mr Costello said Mr Ahern's decision was unacceptable and should be reversed.
