McGuinness to press for early elections

Sinn Féin's Martin McGuinness has called on the British government to set a date for Assembly elections before complacency creeps into the Irish peace process.

Mr McGuinness is due to travel to London today to put pressure on the British to call elections for this autumn, a timescale that is looking less and less likely.
