Body of missing swimmer found

The body of a swimmer who went missing yesterday evening in Killiney Bay has been found.

A massive search got underway last night when the swimmer was reported missing.

The coastguard, lifeboats, the garda helicopter and a navy boat took part in the rescue operation.

The body was recovered by a lifeboat just off the east pier in Dun Laoghaire at lunchtime today.
