Kenny will 'speak' to Deasy
Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny says he will speak to Deputy John Deasy for not voting with the party on a controversial immigration bill.
Fine Gael was planning to vote against the bill protest at what they saw as the Government's failure to provide adequate time to debate the Immigration Bill.
But Deputy John Deasy voted with the Government in this vote.
"I will be speaking with Deputy Deasy later to clarify this matter," said Deputy Kenny.
"This is not a matter of policy difference. Fine Gael had not objected to the principle of this piece of legislation but we had tabled a number of amendments to its provisions."
