Report ordered as child dies awaiting surgery

Health Minister Micheál Martin has ordered an urgent report after a child died in a Dublin hospital after his surgery was put off due to a shortage of intensive care nurses.

The child was due to have heart surgery at the Children's Hospital in Crumlin. The surgery was put off due to a shortage of nurses.
