Deal on CAP reform agreed in Luxembourg

European agriculture ministers have reached agreement on the proposed reform of the Common Agriculture Policy during overnight talks in Luxembourg.

Agriculture Minister Joe Walsh said the deal, which includes an option to retain the link between subsidies and production levels, was a balanced one.
