Special Olympic yachts saved from gale

A fleet of yachts due to compete in the Special Olympics has been escorted to safety in gale force winds.

Howth and Dun Laoghaire lifeboats went to the rescue of the Flotilla, which got into difficulty off Bailey lighthouse in Dublin Bay.

The 12 vessels have now been moored safely in Howth and Dun Laoghaire harbours.
