Many care centres in unsuitable premises: report

Many Irish day hospitals and care centres for psychiatric patients are located in unsuitable premises, according to a report by the Health Research Board.

The report said many of the buildings containing such facilities are too small, poorly designed and undecorated, with no activity rooms for patients.
