David Trimble faces a difficult day tomorrow as he fights to retain his role at the head of the Ulster Unionists during a leadership vote.

Mr Trimble is expected to defeat a motion by anti-Agreement MP Jeffrey Donaldson at tomorrow's meeting of the party's ruling council however there are fears that it could split the party in two.
