FF Deputy wants NYPD in Dublin
Fianna Fail have been urged to move back to a policy of "zero tolerance" with regards to crime.
Fianna Fáil Deputy Pat Carey has called for "New York style" policing to fight increasing crime.
Deputy Carey proposes that Dublin should have a voluntary police force to provide a visible presence to discourage crime.
Deputy Carey says that Ireland needs to learn from the New York experience and try to repeat it here.
