Children's dental health 'improving'

Two out of three Irish 15-year-olds have decay in their permanent teeth, research said today.

Despite this there was a general improvement in the dental health of children in the Republic, the Department of Health survey found.

Health Minister Micheál Martin announced the full findings of the study in Cork at midday.

The research was carried out by the director of the Oral Health Services research centre at University College Cork.
