Taiwan Olympics proposal accepted by SARS group

The expert group on SARS has accepted a proposal from the authorities in Taiwan regarding travel to the Special Olympics.

It will involve the Taiwanese delegation travelling to Thailand - a non-affected region - where they will remain for ten days before travelling to Dublin.

Before departure from Taiwan, the group will be screened and deemed medically fit.

Another medical will be carried out before they leave for Ireland.
