Tyrone man injured in paramilitary-style attack

A man is recovering in hospital this morning after a paramilitary-style attack in Tyrone last night.

The man was attacked by a gang of men in the garden of a house in the Innisfree Gardens area of Strabane, shortly before 11pm.

The victim was subsequently beaten up and shot in the ankle.
