US/Britain urged to restore Iraqi security

The Irish Red Cross has called on the US and Britain to honour their obligations to restore law and order in Iraq.

The organisation's secretary general, Carmel Dunne, who recently visited Iraq, said looting and disease remain major problems for ordinary Iraqis.
