Gardaí continue to question men in Limerick

Gardaí are continuing to question four men in Limerick in connection with the discovery of a significant amount of arms and ammunition on the outskirts of Limerick city.

The operation was carried out by gardaí investigating criminal activity and feuding in the city.

An under-car booby trap bomb, sub-machine gun and ammunition were found during a search carried out by members of the Garda emergency response unit.

The seizure was made in the Loughmore/Mungret area of Limerick at around 3.30pm yesterday.
