Water sports enthusiasts are being asked to consider the safety of animals in the water this June holiday weekend.

Noise and disruption from powerboats and jetskis can cause mother seals to be separated from their pups.

Brendan Price from the Irish Seal Sanctuary (ISS) says it is a particularly sensitive time of the year.
