Closure threat to pubs who serve drunks

Pubs which serve alcohol to drunk people could face closure under proposed new legislation aimed at stamping out Ireland’s drink problem.

The raft of measures would also ban drinks promotions and "happy hours" and force under-21s to produce identification when buying alcohol.
