Private students consider action on fees

Students in private third-level institutions are reportedly considering legal action against the Government over its failure to pay the fees of students studying in private colleges.

The students have claimed that they are being discriminated against.

The outcome of the High Court action could affect 4,000 Irish and European students attending such colleges.
