Man charged with Dublin murder

A 60-year-old man was today charged with the murder of a woman in west Dublin, gardai said.

A 60-year-old man was today charged with the murder of a woman in west Dublin, gardai said.

Police in London charged him in connection with the death of 29-year-old Georgina Eager, who was found dead in a house in Walkinstown on Thursday night.

The victim’s body was discovered by gardai after relatives reported her missing.

Ms Eager, a doctor’s secretary and from Co Wicklow, died as a result of a stab wound to the back of her head.

Gardai travelled to London after police there arrested a man over a separate offence.

The man was due to appear at Camberwell Magistrates Court tomorrow.
