FG calls off fees campaign

Fine Gael has called off a nationwide campaign opposing the return of third level fees. The campaign was due to begin this morning.

This follows the announcement by the Minister for Education Noel Dempsey of a €42m package of proposals to improve access for the disadvantaged into third level education.
