Trimble facing UUP leadership challenge

Ulster Unionist Party leader David Trimble is facing a renewed challenge from members of his own party.

Senior officials meet tomorrow to respond to the joint declaration published by the Irish and British Governments.

Unless it is rejected, the anti-Agreement wing is threatening to call an Ulster Unionist council meeting.
