Cavan raid: Five released without charge

The five people being questioned in connection with Monday night's shoot-out between gardai and a Dublin-based criminal gang were all released without charge last night.

The four men and one woman were arrested in a follow-up operation after at least two shots were fired at gardaí planning to conduct a search of an unoccupied house in Virginia, Co Cavan.
