TD seeks clarity on phone tapping

A leading back-bench TD is calling on the Minister for Justice to state clearly whether or not the phones of any members of the Oireachtas are being bugged.

The Minister has already told Sinn Fein deputy Arthur Morgan that it would not be in the interests of the security of the state to answer a question on the issue.
