Safety groups mark anti-road deaths day

Today is European day of action against road deaths.

Safety organisations across Europe are linking up to highlight the problem.

In London, 300 pairs of shoes will be laid out on a street to represent the monthly death toll on roads in the UK.

50,000 people are killed and 3.5 million injured on European roads every year.
