Student Union wants clarification on fees

Students are demanding clarification on today's announcement that third level fees will return for the next college year.

It follows a statement by the Minister for Education that fees will have to be paid by high-earning families.

However, the Government has revealed no clear proposals about the plan.

Gareth Keogh of the Union of Students in Ireland said tonight they were being kept in the dark.
