Greens call for establishment of Department of Food

The Green Party is this afternoon claiming that the present government have no way to measure people's health in Ireland.

Party leader Trevor Sargent claims that the Government are allowing children to become obese and ill due to poor health.

Deputy Sargent is now proposing that a new department of food, alongside the department of health, should be established to promote healthy living.
