Boating victim yet to be named

Gardai have yet to name the victim of yesterday's boating accident in Co Mayo.

The man in his 60s died yesterday evening when the boat he was travelling in overturned on Lough Mask.

Despite the bad weather conditions another man, who was travelling on the boat, managed to swim to nearby rocks and was rescued.

He was taken to Castlebar General Hospital for treatment.
