Road accident victims named
The names of the six victims of road accidents yesterday have been released.
Lewis Gough, aged seven, was killed when he cycled out in front of a lorry near his home in Ballaghadereen, Co Roscommon.
Aaron Conboy,, aged 12, from Gorteenora, died in an accident outside Longford town.
Mary McCarron, aged 76, from Latlurcan, died in a road accident in Castleshane, Co Monaghan.
29-year-old James Griffin, from Kildimo in Limerick, died in an accident in Co Kerry while 27-year-old motorcyclist Patrick Redmond, from Kimore, died in Co Wexford.
A lorry driver died when his truck overturned in Co Tipperary. He was named as Noel Willbourne, aged 22.
The fatalities brought the total death toll on Ireland's roads so far this year to 104.
