Greens say Adamstown development needs funding
The Green Party is calling on the Government to provide the necessary funding for infrastructural development for the proposed 'supertown' of Adamstown to be built in Lucan, West Dublin.
The scheme envisages 10,000 homes, and is expected to attract over 25,000 people to the area.
The Greens say unless public transport, road and infrastructural infrastructure is put into place, the proposal will end up as a huge planning mess.
However, Fianna Fail TD John Curran has responded by stating the onus is on the developers to provide funding for infrastructure.
