Detectives in Northern Ireland are questioning a man about leaked transcripts of telephone conversations between Sinn Fein chief negotiator Martin McGuinness and senior members of the British government.

The man being questioned about the leak of telephone conversations is a former police Special Branch officer, security sources said today.
