Co Donegal textile plant to lay off 200 workers

Management at the Unifi textiles plant in Letterkenny, Co Donegal, is expected to announce plans to lay off 200 workers at the factory this afternoon.

SIPTU has confirmed that 170 of its members are set to lose their jobs at the plant, but the full extent of the lay-offs is unknown.
