Mandela to light torch at Special Olympics

Former South African President Nelson Mandela is due to light the torch at the opening ceremony for this year's Special Olympics, which will take place in Ireland this June.

Organisers of the games announced details of the spectacular opening night today.

U2 and the Corrs will also perform at the event in Croke Park.
