A warning has been issued about novelty sweets which have caused burns to the mouths of five children in Spain.

A warning has been issued about novelty sweets which have caused burns to the mouths of five children in Spain.

The three types resemble roll-on deodorant or spray canisters, and contain syrup which authorities believe is too acidic for youngsters.

The British Food Standards Agency says one of the products, called Roll-On King, has been imported in large quantities to the UK and it is believed it may also be on the Irish market.
