Thousands on move for holiday weekend

Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to be on the move this Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

Iarnród Eireann said it expected 300,000 passengers to use its inter-city services, while Bus Eireann said it expects 100,000 passengers.

The company said it would be operating extra buses on Sunday and Monday to cater for the traditional Bank Holiday surge in demand.
