Man shot in both legs in Dublin

A man is recovering in hospital this morning after he was shot in both legs during an attack in the Blanchardstown area of Dublin yesterday evening.

The shooting took place on Snugborough Road. The victim's injuries were not life-threatening.

Gardaí said they are trying to establish a motive for the attack, which was carried out by a masked gunman.
