Gardaí to undertake Easter road safety crackdown

Gardaí are due to set up extra checkpoints on Ireland's roads this weekend in an effort to prevent the now traditional Bank Holiday weekend carnage.

Last Easter weekend, five people died in road accidents and another 130 were injured.
